* northwest winds will pick up through the afternoon. Expect sustained winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts 20 to 30 mph. The strongest winds will be along the interstate 64 corridor and evansville tri state region generally after 2 pm. The winds will subside early this evening.
* white caps will be likely today on larger bodies of water. This will create a hazard...especially for those operating small watercraft.
